totally agree, as for Avery , he's a somewhat misunderstood guy , there's a lot more to him than the agitator.

Oh, I still think he's a dickbag on-ice. (And I'm a Ranger fan.) But, yeah, good on him. And shame on the many, many athletes with much more prominence/more of a war chest who actively avoid making such an easy, easy public stand.

When this was posted yesterday, I had no idea who Sean Avery was (I assumed he was a musician) so I didn't open the thread. But now I do know who he is, and yes, good for him!
