Tiger pulls out

Oh there's just so many possibilities with that subject heading .... but, no, he's merely pulled out of this weekend's 'Players Championship'. 'The Players', contested outside of Jacksonville, Florida, is considered by many to be the "fifth major" on the tour for its deep field and challenging course. Tiger withdrew after shooting and 6-over 42 over the front nine in today's first round citing knee and achilles problems as the culprit. He hasn't played in a tourney since the Masters and this may shelve him for a while longer.

Toms also drowned a ball at #16 during regulation which helped drop him into a tie in the first place.
