OoTS 5/23

Mets have a day off to lick their wounds, post ass-kick. I don't know about you but I'll be surfing the dial for MLB to watch tonight.

Ten games today, six in the AL and four in the senior circuit. The MFYs are hosting Toronto, big fat Bartolo Colon taking the hill. Let's hope for a repeat of this hysterical headline.

Among the NL East, the Marlins and Braves are off, Cincy is at Philly (Hamels pitching) and the Nats go to Milwaukee.

It's return of Utley day for the Philadelphias. Utley's back to make his season debut and rookie hopeful Domonic Brown is back.
Victorino and Blanton meanwhile are now on the DL (read that either as the disabled list or the down-low, your choice).

Re: OoTS 5/23

Stupid Phillies score a ton even without Utley contributing. Hopefully they get it out of their system, cause they're going to get drubbed this weekend.

Yankees lose, from what I understand Jose Bautista is awesome and walking two guys intentionally in one inning is bad.

Red Sox just blew a 2-1 lead that would've given them the division lead. 3-2 now with the Sox batting with 1 out and 1 on in the top of the 9th. Now first and third, one out. Drew and Jed (first HR at Citi Field) Lowrie with singles. Pedroia left this game, but I'm not sure why. Crawford up. Homered already today.

Crawford GIDP, game over. Red Sox remain a half game back of the Yankees and Devil/Light Rays who lost to Tigers(the eventual loser in the WS to the Mets)

Crawford doesn't deserve a Reyes contract.
