Mets Need to Indoctrinate Their Youngsters

I don't blame Justin Turner for this. I blame the organization for whom he plays.
Long flights, time in hotel rooms, hours before games, off days -- why are there no seminars for these players on what really matters?

And, oh yeah, six weeks of Spring Training. What else were the Mets doing except optioning Turner to Triple-A?

To be fair Greg, I'm more troubled by Vince Coleman's attitude towards Jackie Robinson, than Justin Turner knowing a Met fan favorite who otherwise, except for Nawlins area where he is a broadcaster, in an obscure player from the 1960s who made a pretty sweet play in a World Series once.

Seaver is still pissed the the young Mets player(Reyes) that didn't know Tom Terrific when they met in an elevator at Shea all those years ago, not that Tom knew him either of course.
