Sadly, when you do a Google search for "Hackensack lyrics" you get almost as many hits for Katy Perry as you do for Fountains of Wayne. That's just not right I tell ya.

Oh ! Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again. (which is close to Hackensack) I always assumed they were referring to the Lodi in California. Songs that unquestionably have a reference to the general Hackensack area: Freddy Cannon's Palisades Park [youtube]GYDSFKLu-TA[/youtube] Also Bob Dylan's Hurricane, which I couldn't find on YouTube.
