Allergy attack over here. Pollen must be bad today.

I have total goosebumps.

And this is an incredibly appropriate week for this video. My daughter is getting ready to move to another state this weekend.

It seems like yesterday that she was born....

They should warn teenage boys in advance that once they become fathers (especially to daughters) that [crossout:2t2u3w00]they will turn into a giant fucking wuss[/crossout:2t2u3w00] their allergies will become significantly worse.

I can't believe how much pollen just descended at my desk here...

M daughter is getting ready to leave for college in the fall - this hit me particularly hard...

Call me an insensitive lout, but I find it hard to be moved by a commercial (although if I knew that someone had done that in real life I'd be touched).

The archivist/records manager in me wonders whether the digital formats seen in the ad will still be accessible when the girl has grown up. Or if Google will even still be a player in the market in 15-20 years.

You may resume your weepfest now.

Insensitive lout.

I hope that your second child is a girl so we can replay this for you this fall.

Yeah, seriously. It was easy for me too when I only had a boy.

My first thought was "won't Google close that account due to inactivity?" Call me an insensitive childless (at least until Oktoberfest 2012) lout but I thought it was mean to take all those photos and videos and then hide them in a digital lockbox for an indeterimined amount of time. I can just picture the 18 year girl, packed for college rolling her eyes when her father wants her to watch a video of her crawing around when she was 2.
