Blowing an ill wind for Tim Hudson (one hopes).

No Bay, no Chipper.

On the downside: ESPN storylines in lieu of actual game discussion. I'm guessing that we'll see a review of Terry's "tirade" and then the ESPN cameras cut to a shot of the booth as Bobby V. discusses whether managerial rants can work.

Better than the last five innings devoted to an appreciation of Tim Hudson and clips of no-hitters.

Plus plenty of Reyes trade speculation ... mostly to the Yanquis of course.

Not in game no more.

Seriously, if Terry's post-game venting counts as a tirade or a rant, we're doing OK.

Dickey gettiing down the line in 45 seconds.

Ridiculing Atlanta Dickey

Yeah he just gave up a run, but it's the 7th inning so one run is about four or five below our norm.

Idiot. If you're going to plug a URL at a sporting event, you stencil it into the tanline of your wife's cleavage. Duh.

With Dickey's foot aching, do you get them out of there when you have a five-run lead?

same sign he had at the rally Friday. So it apparently just took two days to find a justification to kick him out. (He said he offered to ditch the sign) Also, certainly sends a mixed message with your mascot poses with the sign which would imply approval.

The solution is simple though, if you filled the market with Mets shirts that Mets fans actually wanted, there would be no need to buy the7line stuff. (which, btw, I'm sure the Mets are pissed that you can buy literally across the street from the bullpen gate)
