Time to rebound and start a nice winning streak against the weak sisters of the Junior Circuit.

Last time the Angels were here K-Rod blew the save. Doubt it'll happen again.

I think they'll get it in but expect a couple of breaks.

Does he mean this to separate the Mets from those teams who don't put down a covering during downpours?

I'm guessing Mr. Costa had something like this expression on when he typed that.

Michael Milken in the booth. I guess he's used to sharing small rooms with other men.

Fast forward to 8th inning and another key pinch-hitting appearance from Scotty Hairy.

...who whiffs to leave the tying run at 3rd.

Positive: Reyes will lead off 9th.

Gave the Braves a run last night and gave the Angels two tonight. The Mets are too generous.

Re: IGT 6/17 - Angels at Mets

Too many mistakes: Capuano not getting the bunt down; Reyes not handling two balls even though neither scored an error; Turner's error.

Angels got a bunch of bleeders and bloops but we made them all worse with the play in the field.

Re: IGT 6/17 - Angels at Mets

Should've had this game, and I really thought we would, especially with 2 on and nobody out in the 9th. Maybe it was unrealistically raised hopes/expectations but this loss was really disappointing.

Reyes and Turner posted good at-bats, fouling off what Walden did put in the strike zone, and letting pass anything close/outside.

Then, after achieving success with that approach, Beltran and Murphy came up with ideas to hit, and failed miserably.

Ugh...our last 5 losses have been by a combined 6 runs.

These are should haves, not could haves.
