Things Even Out, Slowly and Strangely

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but do you get the impression, all of the Mets two-out hitting for the last year has come in the last two weeks? I mean, they still have no power, so how are they taking these games, but for the sudden onslaught of two-out hitting?

No power like you said but they do sure seem to put together good at bats and I think it all starts with Reyes , he looks very accomplished at the plate these days.

Their RiSP hitting in the Braves series was about .500 -- a little lower and we wouldn't have survived last night's late inning onslaught either.
With even a moderately successful bullpen this would have been a great home-stand.

Well, that's part of the balance, I guess. You have to get everybody going at the same time to have continued success; the bullpen carried this team for a little while a few weeks ago.
