Going to the game?

I really want to get in to a game this year -- would like to take my wife and grandson. Incredibly flexible as to time. Anyone got three tickets from a package they might not be using?

I have one extra for tonight - post here before 2:30 if you're interested (or e-mail me after that. Don't PM - I can't get those on my phone).

Re: Going to the game?

Driving through the midwest this weekend, I met a kind and improbable young man who's a Met fan despite having never been to New York. He checked us in at our hotel in Columbus, saw our Mets caps, and bought us each a drink.

He arrived in NYC last night for his maiden visit, and tonight attends his first Mets home game. If anybody at tonight's game would do me the favor of returning the favor and buying him a drink, I'd be much obliged and Paypal you the funds plus money for your own round. He'll be in section 327, row 4, seats 1 and 2. PM me and I'll give you his name and description.

Three is always a difficult number of tickets to find together but there are lots of deals to be found on the secondary market (ie. Stubhub, in particular). You could easily get three people in the game in "ok" seats for under $50. If budget is less of a concern, there are plenty of opportunities to get good seats for under face value.

If date and time are irrelevant pick a Monday or Tuesday night game for best value.

Here's an example:
Monday, September 12 vs. Washington. Promenade Reserved Infield, Row 3. Total price -- including all Stubhub fees -- is $31.20. (The face value on those tickets is $15/each).
