Re: Phoneyland

I haven't played much Scrabble lately, because there isn't a Droid app that interfaces with it. I have an average of about ten Words With Friends games going at any time, though.

still baffled as to why Android doesn't have an app....words with friends is similar or what's the craic with it?

Re: Phoneyland

Better, methinks, except for two things: no instant score tallying as you put tiles down, and no stats.

Well, when I say "valid," I don't mean to say it doesn't have a history.

Re: Phonyland

TWINK is not valid in the TWL (which I think stands for Total Word List or something stupid like that). That's apparently the list used for (American) tournament SCRABBLE and it's NOT the same as what's in the Scrabble Dictionary.
JISM, on the other hand, is considered valid.

I was wondering how this thread got so many posts in such a short amount of time.
Thought it was the Mets Telephone thread.
Never mind.

COPAYER

I played it on ISC (real time Scrabble, with challenges), and fortunately my opponent didn't challenge it. COPAYOR isn't good, either. COPAY and COPAYS are both copacetic, though.
