Is this a Fox game or available on SNY?

Neither-- it's a PIX evening game. (Sorry, Fman.)

If David Wright accumulates enough to make that desperate run, it'd be virtually impossible for the Mets to lose even a dozen more games.

Where do I sign?

McKeon's nightmare:

Jose Reyes - SS
Justin Turner - 2B
Carlos Beltran - RF
David Wright - 3B
Daniel Murphy - 1B
Angel Pagan - CF
Jason Bay - LF
Josh Thole - C
Chris Capuano - LHP

Jason Bay, 7 hitter.

Re: IGT 7-23 SHaMs-Fish

well, a Turner Double and a Beltran walk, but three fly outs otherwise no score. Making good contact, Hensley not really fooling them so far. Should be a good sign.

4 LOB, 3 innings.

Not a fantastic start.

Capuano, on the other hand, is shooting Fish in a barrel.

that, and a couple of really long fly balls so far this game, but nothing to show for it.

Re: IGT 7-23 SHaMs-Fish

Nice work from Capuano getting past the leadoff double (and some apparent Tholian miscommunication).

Quit slinging it sidearm, SugarPants.

On the other hand, keep with the hitting.

TWO-OUT RUNZZ!

Big inning for Cappy here with the leadoff hitter on with a cheapie and their big boys set to come up.

Or he could screw the pooch before we even get to the meat of the order.
Cappy always seems to have one of these innings around the 5th or 6th which is why, with a slim lead, I wanted him to get through this one.

Well, he'd hung a few sliders middle-in to guys like Morrison and Stanton and gotten lucky.

Alright. We get one back in the seventh, and then Wright runs a deep count before popping up with the tying run on second. Double switching against Murphy with two outs now. Go, Murphy.

DJ Corrasco has a two year contract. Why?

Re: IGT 7-23 SHaMs-Fish

These last two Marlins ups have been like Yanqui innings: a piece of shit infield hit starts it off and then ... Le deluge!

And in fairness to Carrasco, he was forced to get about 5 outs that inning.

And he struck out three.

Sanchez is the PotG, but Dunn is mowing us down.

Re: IGT 7-23 SHaMs-Fish

I wasn't asking about Corrasco's contract because of the HR, but why did he get a 2 year deal?

Probably because they thought he'd go somewhere else if they didn't.
Besides, it hardly matters. I can't imagine the existence of a 2nd year or the money it entails making a bit of difference as to his future on this team.

And as I'm typing another fucking piece of shit infield single starts a run-scoring rally.

btw, is it just my imagination or do all games with Florida move at the speed of plate tectonics?

Re: IGT 7-23 SHaMs-Fish

Nice to see Duda go deep. I like him. He's slow and I'm not sure where he fits in on the field but I like his bat. He often over thinks or is too tentative but there's something there.
