As best as I can tell, there are only two trades of the Sandy Alderson era. The first is Chin-Lung Hu for Michael Antonioni (which I can't find in the UMDB). The other can be looked at as a moneyball special --- if the word moneyball didn't have so many undreasonable connotations attached to it. In a trade of first round washouts with high Scrabble value in their names, the Mets sent Eddie Kunz to the Padres for Allan Dykstra (like in the Hu trade, and in thier Rule V shopping, they moved for a property of a former employer of their braintrust.
Thirteen strikeouts! That's a day for Roy Lee Jackson! Dykstra in 2011:

Three more hits yesterday for Dykstra.
We've gotta get this Bush League Bagwell up to AAA.

That's the Dykstra that's not related to Lenny, right?

Correct. Cutter is Lenny's kid, now in the Nationals org. Allan was one of the bushel of 1Bmen drafted in the 1st round of the 2008 draft - he was 5 slots after Ike.

My gut feeling is that it's probably better to have the Dykstra who's not related to Lenny.
