I don't like it. Stupid reason to be trying to make the playoffs. (Pelf cited this Quote in the post game interview) They should've been trying already. maybe Beltran would still be here.

Ah, the pessimsm hits again. You find any motivation you can. And sacking up and taking up the challenge in finding a way to do it with the guys available beats the hell out of Pelfrey whining that the Mets don't bring in better guys to help. Guys?

I just haven't separated "Beltran losing" and "bad thing" in my mind yet. Especially when it's Willie Harris wishing it.
