Was thinking about catching this later-- with its sad-eyed Steve Carell, sad-eyed Julianne Moore, crazy-eyed Marisa Tomei, and my-eyes-are-up-HERE-ladies Ryan Gosling-- this afternoon.

A few of you seem to have seen this one... how dat be?

I really liked it.

But then again, I'm a girl. I won't guarantee that you will feel the same as I do.

Thought it was ultimately flawed-- I kinda can't go into great detail without massive spoilage, but suffice to say that certain developments meant to wrap things up instead turn things into a high-def, quotable "Three's Company" episode-- but with PLENTY of astute, entertaining observations and funny for all ages.

And oh, that Gosling!

Saw it tonite.

I felt like the emotions were genuine even while the stories around them were blatently larger than life. Especially early on the film was like, yeah, we know. Just play along, and sure enough it was ultimately satisfying.

I don't blame Robby one bit.

As RomComs go, it was better than most. A half-hour too long and as stated, the finale was contrived but Carrell and Gosling were great, I always like seeing Julianne Moore, there were lots of pretty girls and some laughs, too.

Watched this tonight to clear it off the DVR so it has room to breath when we're gone for two weeks.

Kinda enjoyed it. Was silly enough, but I enjoy the silliness of 'keeping it in the family' (and the standard +.5 stars for Emma Stone). Sad he didn't get to play with the babysitter though.

Re: Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)

I gave it Higher Love

I liked it , dragged a bit but the performances of the main cast I thought were great, especially Gosling and Carell , also the babysitter was very good, and Robbie too.

Remember when his friend came to meet him at the bar(babysitters dad) and said his wife told him he couldn't be friends with him anymore?.....I never want to be that guy.
