This game's all about Wright so far. Diving stop to save a run, fakes a throw to first and tags out Maybin rounding third.

in game around the majors. I heard A-Rod got booed when he dropped a pop-up during rehab in Scranton. classy AAA yank fans.. Although I guess plenty of them are actually Pirates/Phillies fans.

Some people call this a behind-the-back-stop. We call it "Gee force" ... atmlb.com/osu9RQ lame joke by the MLB twitter, but after I've been criticizing the Mets pitchers' fielding, nice play by Gee.

Listened intermittently to Bud Black's nightmarish late afternoon as night fell on Central Islip. Great night for the Ducks, too, in Mrs. F's and my maiden voyage to Whatever It's Called Now Park. Obviously we need to sign Mike Loree and have him here by September 1 if not sooner. We'll send the Ducks some warm body in exchange. Ryota Igarashi will love Suffolk County.
