KTE: Here Comes The Brewers
TransMonk Aug 18 2011 08:40 AM |
So, the Brewers are coming to town for a three game series against our Metsies. The Brewers have been playing out of their minds (winning 19 of their last 21 as of Thursday) since the All-Star break and now boast the second best record in the NL. They have both hitting and pitching and with the addition of K-Rod at the break, they have a powerful back-end to their bullpen. They have finally taken over a commanding lead in the weak NL Central.

I forget, who did the Brewers trade to My Chemical Romance to get Shaun Marcum? Nice eyeliner, bb.

We had a better pic of Jerry Hairston's wife in a Hairston family shot around here a few weeks back.

At the risk of sounding rude, it's pretty obvious that Jerry's got a much, much better sense of the feminine strike zone.

Presumably that's why he's crossed the plate three times to Scott's two.

Yeah, whenever I hear about diseases that are increasing my first thought is that it's probably the definition of the disease that's doing the growing.

Any idea when these douches are gonna make with the players-to-be-named?

We shouldn't let them leave town until they pony up the players.

Walkill Guance, meanwhile, took a while to find. Apperently, he started going by "Luis" and hung around ind ball until 2009.
