Thanks for the info. Herrera is 5 foot 6.

And Herrera throws a screwball. I wonder if he'll be on the team in the next day or so.

Herrera had a nice AAA season this year: 2.20 ERA in 61.1 relief innings (46 games). Not so hot in Milwaukee: A 21.60 ERA, but in only 2 games and 1.2 innings.

I wanna say the Mets have faced Hererra before (edit: yeah, he's pitched against 'em. Why I remember shit like this and not birthdays of loved ones is pretty fucking stupid). He was kinda heralded coming out of New Mexico, for a lolly pop kid.

This was a favor to Terry so he doesn't have to look up to every pitcher.

He's now been traded for Josh Hamilton and Francisco Rodriguez.

Wait, does this mean the Mets have their first New Mexican?

Rosario was a Rule 5 pick from the Orioles who evidently didn't stick and was returned to Milwaukee:
"Sometimes guys can come very quickly?" Wow, these scouting reports really get in-depth.

would've been nice to have a bullpen arm in August... couldn't complete at least 1/2 the trade a month ago Sandy?

I think that means he'll be good under the Friday nights lights of Citifield.

Well, they can't use the old "thinking about baseball" trick to prolong these things, because they already think about baseball all day. Maybe they could think about soccer or boccie or something.

Finally someone Tim Kurkjian and Ken Rosenthal can interview eye to eye ... or at least only look up to by a few inches.

That's interesting. I thought lefty screwball pitchers had better success against righty hitters because the ball breaks away from them. Later
