Are you among the few that will be lucky enough to see the Mets play the Braves this Saturday on FOX?

For us in DC, no.

I am among the few and lucky!

I'm not all that sure that I'll be taking advantage of the situation, however.

As much as I want to watch and cherish what may be Jose Reyes' final few weeks as a Met, I keep finding that there are other things I'd prefer doing.

Nope...their still shoving the BoSox down my throat.

No matter, it's football season now anyways.

Fox not bothering with its own telecast for the Detroit game. I'd say that's an indication of how low baseball is in their priorities, but P-B-P announcers like Josh Lewin and Matt Vasgergian already shows how little it means to have a "network" broadcast.

The Detroit/Oakland game is not a regular Fox game; rather it was picked up by Fox (being produced by FSN Detroit) so that the game -- a potential division-clinching game for the Tigers -- wouldn't be blacked out, as it was scheduled in the "exclusive Fox window."

Michiganders and Northern Californians flooding affiliate switchboards demanding Mets and Braves now that Tigers have clinched.

To fool Braves fans into thinking they can see "Hee Haw" following the game.
