Got that scoop from this article, which suggests that three of the smartest guys in baseball are current Mets' properties, and one a recently departed Met. None are R.A. Dickey, neither. As the article openly acknowledges, such mental power is unlikely to mean bupkis in the standings.

Chris Carter...how about that.. Most of these guys have another thing in common, they all kinda suck as MLB'ers.
