Haven't seen it in like a million years but my memory is one of 'Serpico' where the lines separating the good guys from the bad are not nearly as distinct.

I liked the message and its effort to tell a complicated story, but also, it was a little bit too long and could have used a few fewer Treat Williams freakouts.
