Ceetar Sep 20 2011 07:08 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |

Farmer Ted Sep 20 2011 07:08 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |
Lucas Duda. Professional hitter.

Ceetar Sep 20 2011 07:10 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |
also mentioned that maybe they've moved pitchers (And other prospects) through the minors too slowly. cited roster issues and guys in PSL that could potentially be added to the major league roster.

Pelfrey drives in the fifth run with a two-out double and Wayne and Howie both gack on the call.

"They would let you finish your meal before coming up and getting an autograph."

Edgy DC Sep 20 2011 08:04 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |
Cheeps, what's Pelfrey doing making the cutoff?

Hit. No injury. Wow, two successful sac bunts in a row. I think that makes it like two of our last 65

The thing is, he wasn't all that bad with it until like the last six weeks. Now he's morphed into Jerry by doing things like bunting into Tejada as well as with him.

Edgy DC Sep 20 2011 08:37 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |
That's the way you do it.

Edgy DC Sep 20 2011 08:38 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |

It's what Tony LaRussa calls "baseball," and he tends to drag the other manager down with him. He's like a giant planet with an inescapable gravity field. If they can put up with this brand of baseball, maybe they are the greatest fans.

Edgy DC Sep 20 2011 09:08 PM Re: IGT 09/20/11-Mets @ Cardinals |
He would have done it, given half the chance.
