I'm going to have to make some offers they can't refuse

Few months before my nephew/niece arrives and I'm the Godfather of the kid.

Though my jet black hair kind of gives me an Al Pacino circa Dog Day Afternoon look so I'm more Michael than Vito

Then again the point can be made that Michael is the title role...

Uh, sorry thats for another discussion, suffice to say I'm been tabbed by my sister and brother-in-law to be the Godfather of their child due in Feb.

Indeed.

Congratulations, and please take the job seriously. My son's godfather moved away and we don't even know where to.

Vists to Shea Stadium should be quite frequent, or at least watching games on SNY

Kid's mother hates sports apparel so ixnay on Mets gear

And ixnay on getting the kid hooked on memorabillia, so no pack of baseball cards for birthday presents!

Ah well

Being a godfather is a great thing. I saw my 5 year old godson win a little league championship tonight. It was a wee bit cold though for November baseball.

Congrats man.

Congrats Steve, I'm a Godfather and it's very cool, just bought Chris a New York MetroStars Amado Guevaro home shirt for Christmas..

My Godson is considering suing me for lack of godchild support. I told him not to move to Mississippi, but what did he know -- he was only 2 at the time.

I've been a Godfather since I was about 10 years old.
In all the time since I've never actually Godfather'd.
