First time, long time. You guys do a great job, but wondering: Can the display/software be altered so that: 1) The emoticons on the left disappear? (Nothing broadcasts "I'm goofing off at work!" like a 20 smily faces on your computer screen. 2) urls can be automatically (or more easily) parsed and or fused with linked text? 3) A quick-reply window appears with the messages page, reducing clicks? Thanks and keep up the good work!

1) No, it makes no sense to me that we can turn off emoticons - which the board currently has - and not supress the annoying critters on the left. 2) I use old fashioned html for links, I'm not sure what you mean. 3) Write the authors of the software ... but I have to warn ya - they're not very nice - actually they're kinda nasty. We haven't talked about all this much, because things have settled down. My offer always stands, if someone can recommend a better platform - preferably (well, actually it's mandatory) in database form, we're open to suggestions - and we have tons of server space. And maybe Yance can get rid of the critters. Someone else ask him a favor.

(url=http://www.whatever.com) and (/url) do it for me, replacing ( and ) with [ and ] of course. I use ol' HTML also, but, for some reason, HTML works not with mlb.com pages.
