Does anyone else have the little yellow flag that marks a topic/forum unread disappear even when you haven't read the topic or forum?

Happens to me all the time.
Usually when there's a line of topics to be read, I'll get about half way through the unread ones when the tags disappear not only from the specific threads but also from all forums that have new topics.

I've yet to detect a pattern as to what causes them to go away or as to why it occurs some times and not others.

This is my single biggest peeve with this place. I love everything else about it. But I hate it when my To Be Read markers disappear on me.

It happens to me all the time. It pisses me off considerably.

Now the little flags won't disappear at all unless I click mark topics read.

If anyone has the time and patience, there's a large support forum with
users from all over the world that use the board software. Maybe some
answers can be found there by doing some looking around.

Please don't cause any problems there that can be associated with our
urls. The last thing we need is to be bombarded by a hundred phpbb geeks
looking to cause a disturbance on our peaceful bog.

Thanks.
