Okay here is something I love to do with old advertizing, who is still in business! Lets see, obviously Budwiser and Newsday are still going, so is Armitron though rarely advertied other than print, and I think Getty is still Getty Actually Bud, Newsday and Armitron still advertize at Shea! Chemical became Chase and now JP Morgan Chase RC Cola still exists but not big enough to muscle out one of the big two from Shea And SportsChannel is owned by Cablevision, and was "merged" I guess with Fox Sport Net to become Fox Sports New York Okay, so whatever happened to Charles Chips? I was there for the 1 of that 1-15. Quite a pathetic moment in NFL history. I remember after that game a large number of men stormed the field and wrestled in the snow.
|
sharpie Dec 12 2005 12:54 PM |
You were at the Saints' lone victory in 1980? Wrestling in the snow on the field in New Orleans? In the Superdome?

Long time Jets fans can tell you that that one loss was most assuredly NOT in the Superdome.
