We play "extreme bocce." You know bocce, right? Old guys in the park rolling a little white ball down something the size of a shuffle ball court, then rolling bigger balls to get as close as possible to the white ball? Too easy. We go to a nice open space, hopefully one with some hills and trees, and throw the balls far, sometimes overhand. At the annual neighborhood block party, we use most of the subdivision front yards, back yards, the street -- it's all in play. Good fun.

We use less-expensive, more durable plastic balls. Save the wooden expensive ones for the old guys in the park.

I've run that endurance course. And someone was firing live ammunition over my head at the time. You live, you score, you win. I like to watch Lingerie Football better. Later
