On the "Who is online" portion of the site (bottom of page) why are some members names italicized, and others aren't?

What? I thought we were buddies? I'm sure you even wrote it. Looks like it's another gratuitous insult. You don't ever even bother to remotely respond to anything I ever write. You just jump in from time to time and basically, in so many words, tell me to go fuck myself. What'll probably happen now, based on history, is that over time, you'll write another 20 posts like this last one to me .. I'll let them all go by .. then I'll finally respond like on the 21st or 22nd post of yours, and of course I'll be the bad guy ... for defending myself after like 20 more fuck yous from you. You seem to be in charge here. So why are some members' names italicized on the who's online portion of the page?

Even cooler, if you click on the words "who is online" you can see what everyone's doing. I found that out by accident once.

Here's my informed, but confused, understanding: When registering, or editing your profile, you have the option to remain a "hidden" user. Hidden users shoudn't appear on the "Who's online?" list, except to administrators, and to them, such users should appear in italics.

The one user I have in italics right now has, in fact, "hidden" him or herself from that section.
