I like the attention to historical detail in metfairy's song. On the other hand fman's parody cracks me and makes me want to dance.

I saw this last night, and haven't been able to decide. Brain (with historical filigree)-versus-booty (with inventive song choice), y'know? Gun to head... my booty wins. (It almost always does.)

Thanks seawolf. And kudos to Fman! When I saw the bracket I knew that I'd be facing a tough opponent, and my big hope was that I not embarrass myself. Frankly, I'm shocked - your submission was great. Now on to get beat up by Edgy next round....

Congrats to you also! I had the chorus right off the bat. I wasn't able to find a pattern or narrative with the verse of the song however. I will try again next year. Off to the Loser's Lounge now for a delicious shrimp cocktail.

For me, it's not just about your formalwear, DDad... it's about the windblown formalwear look. Is this being taken at a private airplane hangar, from which he and MF are about to dash off to Havana or Hong Kong for the most dangerous date on earth? Is it a Miami pier, and has he just foiled a subrosa offshore arms deal? Is he at the Hollywood Bowl, about to blow minds and melt faces with his take on Orchestral Floyd? YOU JUST DON'T KNOW.

It's called The Titanic. catchy name for a boat, no? we're serving tequila shooters off the bellies of Victoria Secret models and Shrimp Cocktails served in monkey skulls... the baccarrat table is $10k minimum bet. we're losers, but we travel 1st class, baby. on edit: can admins split off talk of the loser's lounge and put it in the loser's lounge?
