Yesterday proved the perils of travel as both #1 Kentucky and #2 Ohio State went down in defeat yesterday. Kentucky traveled to Indiana for their first true road game of the season and were buried under a barrage of 3-pointers including a buzzer beater that left the Mildcats as Indiana roadkill. The should return return to their winning ways as their next 7 games are once again in the Rupp Arena. Ohio State left Columbus for the first time this season, after playing their first 8 games on their home court, and didn't find Kansas much to their liking as they fell to Kansas. Not having their best player, Jared Sullinger, didn't help Ohio State's chances either. These road losses clear the way for the Syracuse Orange to ascend to the #1 position just as they prepare for their first true road game of the season. Congratulations and best of luck going forward. It's a long season, but you are off to a great start.

Syracuse looked dominant against GW at home last night. Those guys didn't stand a chance. Having said that going down to NC State will be a tough test for the Orange. Enjoy your week at #1, boys.
