Met-Lovers Getting Their Douchebag On in 2012

Here you may find the escapades of 2010 and 2011's MLDBs, including the Would-Be Times Square Bomber. When that thread is retired, look for it among threads started in May 2010.

We begin 2012 with the tale of this Fairfield joyrider.

Met-Lovin Douchebags 2012

The thread to detail fans behaving badly and incidents of perps pictured in Mets gear, as on the cover of today's Snooze:

Long Island 'bag is ringleader of insurance scam.

I instantly decided you were positioning the MLDB as the regional and contemporary version of...

Who was such a 'bag that he didn't make it to live studio audience Happy Days.

On the other hand, it was nice to see the Mets make the front page of the Daily News.

EDIT: I swear this thread was showing up with no replies when I responded to it with this image. I mean, jeez. I swear. Now I just look like an idiot.

Is this bank robber your mama? I'm 94% convinced she's not mine. And the 6% has me chilled to the bone.

Polie Officer Eduardo Cornejo, arriving home after his arrest at NotShea Stadium for the badge-tarnishing sin of helping himself to a seat upgrade.

"He was in a section he wasn't supposed to be," Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told the New York Daily News. "They asked him to leave. He wouldn't. (A) supervisor asked him to leave. He wouldn't. The uniformed police sergeant asked him to leave. He wouldn't, and he was arrested as a result."

I don't know what's stranger, that the case was important enough to get a statement from Commissioner Kelly or that he stayed true to the orange blue with his cap even after they had him locked him up and possibly ended his career.

Oh, and police (but not Eddie Cornejo at this time) are searching for what appears to be a 5'7" Hispanic Met-loving groper.

Have they ruled Herrera out?
