Time Warner-MSG

As usual, its hard to tell who the asshole is, but either way its the fans who suffer.

MSG and Time Warner are in yet another dispute between cable company and sports network (why is it always the networks that carry sports? You never hear that the cable company is arguing with Discovery Channel or the Disney Channel)

If you have TW, I'd urge you to call up and bitch. Tell them that half the reason you pay for cable is the Knicks and Rangers and that most of your favorite shows are on 2/4/5/7 anyway... Good chance you will be able to get some $$ back out of them given past experience.

also those other stations are usually owned by the networks. Disney is owned by ABC I think.

lost Food Network for a week last year while cablevision was fighting with ABC.

The other way around.

Here's a list of Disney's extensive corporate assets and divisions (including ABC, ESPN, Lifetime, A&E, and Disney Channel):

Whichever company makes the most money is the biggest asshole of the two. The runner up is also a big douche.

(FWIW, I'm on FIOS and I don't watch the NHL or the NBA, so I remain unaffected.)

I too have FiOS and they just settled a few weeks ago with MSG, they had been in court for several years apparently.

Could you imagine a cable company taking on Disney?

There'd be nothing left but mouseprints.
