Re: In Like Flynn

That's pretty cool.

I think the subway sign that would most tempt me would be the one of Darryl Strawberry endorsing milk.

Re: In Like Flynn

Looks like the same guy has Frank Taveras and Steve Henderson ones as well. The is a 4 by 5 foot Lee Mazzilli one going for$600

Re: In Like Flynn

That poster couldn't be more "in" if it featured him shirtless and making out with Taveras.

Re: In Like Flynn

I really badly want to buy this.

Wifey won't think it's a good use of $69.99 plus shipping though.

Super cool, yeah can't imagine trying to convince the missus that it's super cool.

Re: In Like Flynn

It is very cool.

I'm trying to figure out whether D-Dad would like it as a surprise for the basement.

Re: In Like Flynn

It does say, "Best Offer." Toss him a sawbuck and an autographed "MbTN."

Re: In Like Flynn

I already own most of these, some autographed. I collect very little memorabilia, but these I cherish.

What I'm saying is, before purchasing, please double check that it's not my wife doing selling.

If it is, well, they she and I will have to talk.

Re: In Like Flynn

For those of you familiar with Flynn's autograph - does it look legit?

(I have no reason to doubt it's authenticity. But I figured I'd ask you guys before plunking down the dinero)

OE - I've looked at other samples of Flynn's autograph online, and this looks like the real deal.

Re: In Like Flynn

OK - I decided to go for it. I think that D-Dad will enjoy it as a Valentine's Day gift.

Re: In Like Flynn

There were a couple of 2000-ish era subway signs which I absolutely contemplated trying to swipe at one point.

"Were You There?" (or something similar to that) was the campaign's theme as that slogan accompanied in-action shots of Ventura's GS-Single or Rey making a stab in the hole.
Those will probably find their way to EBAY in a decade or so which means I coulda made a lot of dough by going through with my plan ... or spent some time in Rikers, one or the other.

Re: In Like Flynn

I've got those with Flynn, Joel Youngblood, Steven Henderson, Craig Swan, and Frank Tavarez. Three are signed. Good stuff. I like things like that.

Looks bee-yootiful, MF. But shouldn't that be, like, in the DD/MF boudoir or make-out nook?
