Thought word was early next week for David unless he's gonna do minor league games? if he starts tomorrow he can still get 10 days of games and AB.. Possible matchup of the future anyway. Valdy in center. Gee gets the minor league start today, Dickey minors on tuesday. Herrera, Edgin, Parnell, Acosta and Francisco also on the list for the Mets. Chad Durbin, Ryan Perry, Tyler Clippard, and Brad Lidge on deck for the Nats.

Harvey's wallbangers today Anthony Rieber ? Harvey is done after one inning and 43 pitches. 7 hits, 5 runs, 3 home runs.

Final = 12-0 Hits = Nats 17, Mets 8 Bay = Bruised forearm Pitching: After Harvey much of the damage was done off of Justin Hampson Two of the 5 Met hits off Strasburg were from Tejada

Some comfort to know that most of the damage were off two guys who weren't going to make the team anyhow. Some small comfort. An iota. But come on. Let's put a team together.
