Crane Pool Tournament Challenge 2012

Happy Tournament Kickoff Week! A rough year for my Huskies, but then so was last year until the BE Tournament. With every bad game or 30 point loss to Louisville I realize how much better Kemba Walker was than I thought. I hit the "renew your league" button when I set up the tournament challenge, which gave me the option to email everyone that put in an entry last year. As I mentioned in that email, if anyone doesn't like that email message I won't use it again next year. You can enter from here too: http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.c ... /joingroup. On that page, click Join Group and enter the league info. Our group ID is 158617, and the password is piazza. If you've never played on Yahoo before, you'll need to set up a free Yahoo account to enter. If you need help with any of that post here, it's pretty straightforward. I think there will be an option to renew your bracket settings from last year, same as with any other fantasy league. Also if you want to brag or whine about your bracket, post your bracket name here so we can all praise and commiserate. Same rules as last year. If anyone wants to suggest/vote on a new scoring system just post it here, I have used the defaults in the past (32 points per round: 1 point per 1st round winner, 2 points per 2nd round winner,,, 32 points for the champion). Thursday and Friday should really be national holidays. Enjoy the games.

You have until Thursday before the start of games. The first four games on Tuesday don't count, so you can wait to find out who wins those games before you have to submit picks.

12:15 PM deadline tomorrow. Get a bracket in. It's fun. I'm trying to figure out what Big East team can make the Final Four now that Melo is out. Not Georgetown or Louisville. Marquette I guess, not that they're a real Big East team.

I serve a special function in these prediction contests to make everyone feel a little bit better about themselves by looking at the standings and saying "Jesus, what the fuck was Willets' thinking?" I've already provided this service to participants of the Parody Challenge and look to do so as well for Predict the Mets 2012. I kind of feel like a Bodhisattva.
