Dondi and Annie were both orphans. One got only white for eyes, one got only black. If they mated, it might work out for the best for their offspring.

I'd guess his duties as prez of the North Carolina Optometric Society took away what little time he had for cpf-ing. He'd mostly become a lunchtime post-answerer, not a posting fool like you and me.

I sent him an email too. Just did some googling, had no idea in
addition to Optometry, he also manned four NASA Shuttle flights.
Very impressive!!

Wow, thanks for the concern everyone. Luckily, the Martians only want the smart ones, so I'm pretty safe. KC sent me an email letting me know that people were wondering where I had disappeared to. I and the family are all doing well. My schedule has just been very hectic since the start of 2012.

My duties as Presidect-elect of the NC State Optometric Society have taken up a great deal of my time. This was compounded when the society's Executive Director of the past 50 years lost her battle with cancer and passed away on Valentine's Day. Since that time, I have been part of a 5 member committee charged with conducting a nationwide search for a new ED to head the state society. The dramatic increased volume in my email, coupled with the travel I have been doing on behalf of the state society has conspired to obliterate most of my free time. Once a new Executive Director is hired and in place, life should get far less hectic. I keep telling myself that if I can just make it through July, things should get back to normal.

I hope to gwet back to the CPF on a more regular basis again soon.

Good to hear that Doc's absence is due to his being involved in something interesting and challenging.

I think they're having burgers at the Red Robin across the street from HersheyPark, that's where we went last time we were there.
