Mets face their first lefty tomorrow in Mike Minor. Who escapes from the bench? Hairston? Turner? Nickeas? Cedeño? Mets counter with Jonathon Niese --- a good guy to go after this lefty-heavy lineup.

Diaz back in LF for the lefty Niese which means Prado back to 3B. So it's the same as their game 1 set-up except that vet glove-man Jack Wilson gets the start at SS in place of Pastonicky

dont look now but the braves are back in business... Mets need to close this game out and get the sweep, every game counts and a game you led 7-0 is one you will be looking back on in september if you lose it and the standings are close.

I'm still 99% certain that Chris Rock graphic is repurposed from 200..7? The mic is Citi Field though, but I think that's digitally edited. You'll notice the plain white background, because I'm pretty sure that used to be Shea. Anyway, crowd was fairly lively without scoreboard prompting on Opening Day. They don't have Spring Training where games matter for fans to practice though. Give us a couple of days. ;)

Ha, I actually did an image search for "sweep" seconds after the game ended and the Lego street sweeper caught my eye. Hopefully I'll be able to bring it out again this season. (It would be even better if I could find some blue & orange Legos to build a Mets' street sweeper and put a Mets' cap on the driver. I'll have to do some Lego shopping).
