I was thinking this in the stands. They went in at the same time, and Cedeno handled the first ball in play for Francisco's first batter.

Lineup order maybe?

Frankie Frank touched the ball prior to Cedeno fielding the grounder and/or batting - so I say it's FF.

It appears that we're not counting them in this list but don't most sources (UMDB, MbtN and others) count them since they most certainly did take up a roster spot?

Doesn't look like Gronauer is making the majors.

950 looks good for Wheeler though, I think it depends on what spot in the rotation he ends up with next year( assuming he does anyway, if not 950 might be low)

I'd be shocked if any of those tickets came in on the money. And I wouldn't be surprised if only Wheeler ever tasted a postgame spread as a Met. (Gronauer and Reyes have both been demoted this season.)

Just taking a snapshot, using only vaguely scientific principles. Predicting the future is HARD.

just weighing in.

The Wheeler one is interesting actually. How many new Mets do we think debut as Sept callups, and how many are new for Opening Day? does that put us past 950?

Word is probably Familia. Lagaras is on the 40 man so an easy call up. Havens?

presumably one of the beat guys will ask him, and hopefully he won't do the same thing he did to Ted Berg and say "I'm Familia" "I'm Familia"

Jeurys Familia: Jeurys Familia is the only person ever named “Jeurys” to play affiliated baseball and, based on quick Googling, by far the most notable “Jeurys” in the world. As such, it seems like no one has any idea how to pronounce it. I’ve heard HAY-your-is, but the Buffalo broadcasters say “JAY-or-EES.” I tried to settle the matter myself when I interviewed him this year by introducing myself. “I’m Ted,” I said, extending my hand. “Familia,” he said as he shook.
