Choose the option that best fits your feeling on the Mets' slugging first baseman

Now. Bottom 6. 2R HR to put the Mets ahead.

Hit one deep into the valley from whence his fever arose.

2 run HR must be coming later then.

So apparently Francessa picked up from Terry's breakfast event this morning that unless trends change in the next couple weeks Ike could be the one to go when Bay returns (Doodoo to first, Niuewy to right). I think that's probably a good idea if this shit keeps up.

I would never have foreseen this, but yes, I agree.

This is crazy. How can he be this bad? He must be hurt (or sick) no?

From You Make the Call: Ike Davis:

This was in an e-mail that I received from the Mets this morning:

Ike Davis is projected by Bloomberg Sports to bounce back this season, with 22 homers and 83 RBI.

I'm actually hoping for a bit more than that. Those numbers don't seem like much to crow about.

Right now, with 2/9 of the season complete, Ike projects to 22 home runs and 58 runs batted in. (Not to mention 9 doubles, 49 runs scored and .164/.221/.303.)

Yeesh!

Either Ike is sick hurt, or needs a couple weeks at AAA.

Well, then, Bay better find some hits in his bat, because this team is like one Ike short of being pretty good.

Duda 1B
Nieuwenhuis RF
Bay LF

Davis - AAA

I'd be ok trying this for a while.

Is it too late to pick an option in this poll, what with Ike still not getting his first hit yet?
