They are saying on the radio Tejada is banged up badly after tripping or trying to slide into 1B I hope he is ok, and I hope he tripped because sliding into 1st instead of running through the bag is stoooooopid

Turner is your shortstop...and the dumb ass who makes the third out at third base. 3-0 good guys. Tejada was trying to slow up because there was not going to be a play and caught his toe in the dirt. Fell on his face.

Ugly fall. Turner at short is a concern.

Right quad strain for Tejada. Davis tries another railing flip, but doesn't make the play.

Yeah, Turner should ideally be your third option at SS, not the 2nd. Didn't realize that they had demoted Valdespin in favor of Carrasco prior to the game. Can't bring Valdespin back for 10 days unless they DL Tejada (or someone else). Meanwhile, I see where they've got action going in the bullpen but, in my mind, R.A. needs to fall apart big time before I even think about yanking him from this game.

WHEW! The Kubel fly to LF looked innocent enough but that Montero shot at the end scared the snot out of me.

Tejada to receive MRI of quad and have an eye checked. DL likely per Rotoworld.
