4 home runs for Josh Hamilton tonight at Camden Yards. Also had a double to bring it to 18 total bases.

Strange as it may sound, the 4 Home Runs In One Game Club may be the only HR related club that did not explode with new membership during the steroid era. btw, the number of Hamilton's HRs that went over the short porch in RF at Camden Yards? None. One to LF and three were straight-away.

And Oakland scores five in the ninth-- the last four courtesy of a Brandon Inge walkoff slam-- to beat Toronto 7-3. There were MAYBE 3000 people left in the stands when it happened.

And barely garnered PotG honors. i had him down for 4.4 schaefer votes, but have since tweaked my algorithm to escalate votes for homers more than 2 and for total bases more than 10. blame goes to neftali feliz for having a good outing of 6 innings, 4 hits, and 8 strikeouts, with none of those pesky at bat thingies that tend to drag down our own pitchers' performances.
