Jaime Moyer to pitch in 50 stadiums

Moyer will become the first player to pitch in FIFTY different major league parks tonight when he starts at Miami's new stadium (according to Jayson Stark)

A testament to his long 25 year career, the advent of interleague play, and the number of owners who have squeezed public dollars out of their states and cities recently.

This got me thinking, how many teams are even still playing where they played when Moyer's career began? I'm coming up with the Red Sox, Twins, Athletics, Cubs, and Dodgers. Are any of these wrong? Am I missing any?

Not the Twins. Royals, though.

Looks like you've got 'em covered: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_M ... l_stadiums

Hard to believe that now 3 of the 5 oldest active ballparks are in California.

Also, the only two stadiums still using artificial turf are ranked 7th & 8th oldest.

Oh did the Twins open their new park this year or last? For some reason I thought it was NEXT year.

I did forget the Royals.

And that will tend to happen, sadly.

The Angels have moved from Los Angeles to California to Los Angeles to Anaheim, but they've always played in Angel Stadium.

The first time they were known as the Los Angeles Angels, they played within the city limits, for one season at Wrigley Field and four at Dodger Stadium.

The change to "California Angels" coincided with their first season at Anaheim Stadium.
