Schwinden & Quintanilla en route

Metsblog quotes NY Post's Mike Puma as saying that Turner is headed to the DL list (duh!) and Acosta to DFA limbo.

Schwinden, already on the 40-man roster, takes Turner's spot while Quintanilla moves into Acosta's spot on the 40 and graduates to the 25 at the same time.
Terry apparently doesn't view Valdespin as a SS while Tejada (along with Thole & Bay) just started today in extended ST games although only at bat and not yet in the field.

Well, those runs aren't just going to give up themselves.

Stinks like the day Ike and Wright went down on the same play. Stinks like the say Reyes and Murphy got hurt in the same game. Wright played short that day, also.

Course, today, we didn't have two injuries, unless you count how un-necessarily putting your poorest performing pitcher into a one-run game injures my soul. Still, Turner's injury seems to be bonehead related.

last time a Met got injured in a rundown play (i think) we got Ike Davis (via Mike Jacobs). What do we get this time?

A shortstop who slugs over .400? (AND a guy with a distinctly Schwindish* reek to him.)
