Re: Franco Day

But don't invite Armando Benitez, who cost Franco a Cooperstown induction. And while you're at it, don't put Armando's face on one of this year's season tickets, and don't include him in SNY's list of the 50 greatest Mets, either.

I dunno ,he'd have had a lot less time for genocide if you'd invited him to more Mets games.

Re: Franco Day

He might also have a lot more motivation for it, though. Hey, but you know who could really keep the trash getting picked up on time?

Sanitation Commissioner Jay Doherty. Why, who were you thinking of?

SI Metman, for being the user who swiped the Franco mugshot from UMDB, causing Old Ben to nearly go all Clobberin' Time on this corner of the Met web.

John should throw out the ceremonial pre-game pitch.
And it will be just off the plate.

I don't think Francisco Franco should get his own day at Citi Field. This guy was a menace.
