1st post quick intro

Little Napoleon
Dec 04 2005 09:15 AM

Whats up guys? This is my first post and Im happy to be here.- I found out about the site at the ganggreen.com. Just wanted to introduce myself to not be a stranger.

I've been a diehard for 25 years a season ticket holder for the last 5. My twin brother is a nut Yankee fan so I've been in hell for a while.

I I love the history of the game and I look forward to some intelligent baseball discussion and/or debate with you all about our beloved Mets.

Thank you for your time and have a good football Sunday.

Always good to welcome a guy from the correct side of the womb.

Hmmm, a Met fan and a Jet fan.
My screen name says Mets Fan Since 1962, but I was a Titans fan in 1960, before they became the Jets.

You will be welcome here.

Now, rookie, up on that table in the middle of the room and sing us your school fight song.

How do we know it's you, and not your twin brother?

Isn't "Little" Napoleon redundant?

Quite a few of us are Jets fans, having a good football Sunday is not possible......welcome Napolean and jump right in.

Not true. Every loss brings us closer to winning the Reggie Bush sweepstakes.

I still want to know why a skin care website is pimping the CPF. That's what www.ganggreen.com is.

Ah! It's www.theganggreen.com.

Did you see what Kevin Mawae said, it went something like this...

] the history of our fans is to root for us to lose so we can get a high draft pick and then they can boo the pick on draft day

D-Dad still hasn't forgiven them for failing to draft Warren Sapp.

He's a dick, but he's a good center. A lot of football players are dicks. I really don't care what he has to say.

The last time the Jets had the overall #1 pick they took Kyle Brady, so the fans that booed that day knew what they were about.

Why does that make him a dick? I think it's a funny line.

Mawae can snap the ball for my team anyday, and he ain't all that far off.

I wonder what insurance company Blair Thomas is slinging policies for.
Johnny Mitchell, wasn't he a high pick? There was a stretch for a number
of years the Jets didn't even have any of their high picks end up making and
staying with the team.

Wait, who are you from TGG?

KC
Dec 05 2005 06:08 PM

And I don't think Brady was a number one pick, Keyshawn certainly was,
but I don't think Kyle was.

From TGG my name is S.Kobler set Joe up! I dont post that much but I keep up with the boards and die with the Jets.

John McGaws nickname was Little Napoleon. I love McGraw- he was a badass and brought the NY giants to prominence with his no bs style.

And Kevin Mawae is the man. The man has more heart in one finger than John Abraham has in his whole body.

It is but I didnt make it up. Just a little tribute to John McGraw, the greatest NY manager of all time. It's his nickname, Im just borrowing it.

That line doesn't make him one, I think he just is one. But I'm forgetting specific incidents. I really ought to stop calling people names if I can't remember the reason for them.

Me too. That's what I was going for. It's rare in football that I care what goes on off the field.

Wow. You're right. I feel like an idiot. I wonder why I thought Brady was a #1? Probably because I'm an idiot.

Frayed Knot

Brady was 1st round (5th overall I think) but not #1.
Keyshawn was probably the last NYJ #1 (speaking of dicks)
Jets aren't likely to get the #1 this year anyway.

P.S. I was aware of the origin of 'Little Napoleon', just making a small (almost stillborn) joke.

I hear what you're saying. It makes me feel very good that you know where Little Nap comes from- my whole thing was that it's a tribute and I hope everyone gets it.

I dont think we (the Jets) can get the number 1 pick- not with the new and innovative ways the Texans come up with to lose each week. This week was rediculous the way they blew it.
