Hate to speculate on how players feel, but I'm going to do it anyway. Perez can pitch, but Bay can't stand in LF because he's sick?

Day games in St. Louis can be awful, heat-wise. Back in the artificial turf days, it could get up to 140 degrees --- literally like an oven. I'm sure it's a simple case of dehydration.

I wonder sometimes if baseball players/coaches underestimate the importance of simple things like being properly hydrated and getting enough sleep.
