Wow, an ESPN event with lead announcer Chris Berman hyping an upcoming ESPN event with Chris Berman as its lead announcer. No way anyone coulda seen that one a'coming!!

I'm on that Fan At Bat email list that sends out surveys occasionally. had one for the festivities and a couple of questions were about the announcers and the announcing team. This is either a broad survey or they're aware of a dislike for Buck/McCarver Berman..

Chase field really seems to yield some long ones. Here's a 30 foot shorter one, that's still completely massacre'd, but Beltran.
