The Mets bullpen has a 2.45 ERA in the Harvey Era, and momentum is suddenly ours.

Make the most of it, Metties.

Ike Davis - 1B
Daniel Murphy - 2B
Jason Bay - LF

Mets crush Cubs, 17-1, June 27, 2012. I'd want to relive it, too.

17-1 was the score of the Pelfrey debut game too right? poetic.

Loved how excited the guys behind home were for Ike.

Meanwhile, when we want Bay to hit his typical weak ground ball, he doesn't.

Evening all,
is Valdespin in RF for a particular reason?

Because the Mets have like 5 guys that are half an outfielder, so they mix and match.

Maybe cause the rookie Valdespin draws a soft tosser.

Geez, does Justin Upton ever run hard?
On both of the hits while he was on he had little chance of taking the extra base but by trotting he made sure of it each time. Even if the ball was misplayed he wasn't advancing.

Makes you realized why they want to trade him maybe.

Fucking hell. A bases loaded walk to the catcher and a knock for the pitcher? You cut me, Jon. You cut me real deep.

B.J. Upton does the same thing.

Re: IGT, 7/27/2012, Mets @ Snakes

Mark that one down as one of the shittiest innings of the season. A few solid hits and a blast or two is one thing, but dribblers, walks, a hit by a pitcher, then a bases clearing infield single combined with a boneheaded E-1 makes that an inning to forget.

Fire up guys....seriously.

It;s not enough they're deficient in so many areas, now they've lost their grit.

Re: IGT, 7/27/2012, Mets @ Snakes

Between the two early HRs, the hitters' park environment, and the 'eh' pitcher the Snakes were throwing out there, I though this was going to be one of those nights where we'd hit enough to at least be in it at the end despite any early deficit.
Instead, following Wright's 3rd inning/still no outs HR, NYM bats got all of two balls out of the infield for the rest of the game as 10 ground-outs, 7 strike-outs, and an infield liner made up the rest of the game interrupted only by Tejada's infield single, two walks, and two fly-outs.

As some basketball player said one time; "Whoop-de-damn-do"

Re: IGT, 7/27/2012, Mets @ Snakes

This is officially my most hated Met game ever. More than “the Gambler”, more than “Devastated” more than “Yadier Molina”. Sorry for being so cryptic. I’m not attention-whoring. I’m just butthurt and need to vent.

(and in case you're wondering there was no gambling involved).
