Blue Moon

The somewhat rare appearance of a 2nd full moon in one month is the famed "blue moon" - and today is one of those days. So if you promised to do something or call someone 'once in a blue moon' then you better do it today or it'll have to wait until like 2015. Or you can celebrate by just watching/listening to this [youtube]QHHW1BYxTTo[/youtube] or you can have one of these -- I personally have [crossout]a 12 pack[/crossout] about eight left in the fridge

And I don't really care which old rich white guy gets fatter and richer at my own expense. I just wish they made a light version of their product, which they do not.

Coors (well, Miller-Coors) has two things going for it in my beer snobbed eyes. (I generally go with Beer Geek) A. It's not Budweiser. Most of the Big Beer rumors/stories I hear are about Anheuser. (i.e. the no Brooklyn Brewery beers at Citi Shake Shack stands..) B. Blue Moon was developed, well tested anyway, at a ballpark, which makes it sorta awesome. Blue Moon also represents a rising of the beer quality floor. It's drinkable, and much much better than Coors Light, if you're into taste. So if you're trapped at a crappy bar or restaurant, chances are you can still get a Blue Moon/Shock Top or something that at least has a little flavor.
