Orioles Jim Thome & Manny Machado recently became just the 4th pair of [u:3tx3qwtm]teammates to HR in the same game[/u:3tx3qwtm] where one was [u:3tx3qwtm]age 20 or younger and the other was at least age 40[/u:3tx3qwtm]

My first thought when it came to old sluggers was "Giants," given Horace Stoneham's love for his aging window-breakers. Knew '58 was Cepeda's first year and Mays had his last good season in '71 -- and remembered Speier was hot stuff. Then it was a matter of confirming dates and birthdays.
